Tips how to google smarter

“Quotation marks”
Using quotation marks in your search terms lets you search exactly for that word. It means, all your results will have your search terms in them. 
Example: “Michael Jordan is the GOAT”

-Dashes
If you want to exclude a term from your search, put a hyphen before that word.
Example: kalev/cramo -müürsepp

~Tilde
Use tilde when you also want its synonyms to appear in the results. The example will search for music classes, lessons, coaching etc.
Example: music ~classes

site:
Use this operator to search within a pecific website or specific domains only.
Example: site:facebook.com site:ee etc.

| vertical bar
This query will search websites that have any one/two/all of the terms.
Example: cpu | gpu | ram 

.. Two periods
Include two periods when you want to search within two number ranges.
Example: movies 1990..2010 

FileType
Use this operator to find specific filetypes relating to your search. This example returns pdfs relating to “Airsoft”.
Example: Airsoft filetype:pdf
